My name is Gavin Bowen. I am currently a Certified 911 telecommunicator and the owner of the small business, Ryver Technologies LLC!
I began my career in first response 5 years ago as a new telecommunicator before attending the Department of Criminal Justice Training Public Safety Dispatch Academy. In those 5 years, I have held several roles in first response, such as Telecommunications Supervisor, Asst. Chief Firefighter, Deputy Sheriff, and more. In those 5 years, I have personally witnessed life-saving equipment fail due to poor maintenance, improper installation, and misuse. After realizing how much this can affect the people that are issued the equipment but also the impacts it can have on the public, I have decided to offer another option to agencies and personnel.
I have been assisting in the maintenance and installation of emergency equipment such as emergency lighting, sirens, 2-way radios, vehicle consoles, and more for about 3 years now, and I have been fortunate enough to learn from some very experienced individuals in this field. My hope is to now bring that to you at a more accessible and affordable option and ensure quality work is done to better serve you.
